So it snowed. I haven't been outside yet, but it looks to be the crystalline fluffy stuff. Hell, I'll take the 3+ inches we got. The sun is shining right now, so the world is a lot brighter than it normally is. I don't know if the kids got the day off, but I'm betting there was at least a delay, because the snow didn't start until about 3 am.
Hoping to see the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe this weekend. So far I've heard good things, and the best is that it isn't shoving Christianity down anyones throat. I really don't like the idea of any movie having a religious agenda and try to avoid such movies.
Another good thing, seems my youngest cat, Robin, has finally decided to start calming down. He still runs around like the hounds of hell were on his tail, but he's begun getting cuddly, which he does when I'm feeling ill. I love that he comes up when I'm laying down, stares at me for a moment, and then flops over and starts washing and purring, to put me to sleep. He's playing fetch more now, and will actually drop whatever he's fetching into our hands from time to time. He's also picked up a bad habit of pawing at my nose when I sleep, so I'll wake up to pet him. He's very cute, if a bit annoying.
I can't believe how fast the holidays are coming upon us. I've got the kosher turkey in the freezer, 'cause he/she was a little lighter than the none kosher ones. I'm thinking up holiday recipes to play with, including the cupcakes I want to make. Ooooh, and Giant has Christmas cupcakes. Oh how I love the cupcakes.
Other than that, life goes on. I need to figure out how I'm doing my cards, 'cause I still don't have them yet. Bad Sam, no cookie for you.
