Working in retail has convinced me that the intelligence of humans in general is on the decline.

First off, teens and young adults have no social skills. Most can't even utter hello, nevermind answer so simple a question as, "how are you?"

Goddamn it already, just because I work in a store does not mean that I have lost my social standing or my damned IQ, please refrain from being a brainless peon in my store.

Second, there are the people that make my IQ drop just being in their presence. These are the strange people that obviously took too many bad drugs during the seventies. Some are nice enough, and some are just downright scary.

Why is it that I can have a more fulfilling conversation with an 18 month old than the average 18 year old? Why are the toddlers more well behaved than the teen agers? What happened during the early 90's that makes the kids today completely stupid. I've seen more vacant expressions in the past two months than I have in my entire life.

The general public worries me and frightens me. Some of these people should be locked away, other's heavily medicated, or their parents should be whipped in public for the shoddy way they raised their children. Beware those that wander the mall.
