My Weekend

I didn't get to write yesterday, so I'm writing today.

I had a great weekend. Friday was a quiet evening in, spent with Efrain and Gary. We watched Scare Tactics, which I found mildly disappointing, but amusing all the same. I really think they need to find another way of announcing the people are on the show, but that's just me.

Saturday we went to the shooting range. I shot a revolver and had a great time. Efrain bought his gun, which I do have to say is amazing (after all I'm not a gun person, but that may change, though I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the sharp pokey objects). The place has some great bows, as well as some terrific hunting knives. I look forward to going back soon. We went out after that to get videos, shop and stuff. Got a couple of CDs' and some coffee. We came back and proceeded to watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Death to Smoochy. I enjoyed both movies, being my second time seeing the Harry Potter flick and my first for Smoochy. I really enjoyed them.

Sunday was pretty quiet. Did some cleaning, Efrain got his old car towed to the garage (Yay car!!), went to the Olive Garden (Yay for salad and Italian food!!), and finished out the day watching Ghost Ship and drinking. Got mildly tipsy and slept well.

Had work today. It was a good day, considering it's spring break for the schools down here and had to deal with young customers and parents. But it's cool. It's the older people that walk in all excited that disturb me slightly. But I understand there is a lot of retro stuff in there and people are trying to relive their past.. hey, whatever, it's putting money in my pocket.

All in all I had a good weekend. I'm still trying to figure out how to make jello shot Easter eggs, but I've got some time.
