transient_orangeSo Diamond and Pearl come out at the end of the month. I'm honestly excited. My favorite pokemon, Eevee has two new evolutions for me to do, plus day and night are back and I get to evolve Espeon and Umbreon again. Yeah, so I'm doing something silly, but hey it's fun. Beyond them just doing the day and night thing that they did in Crystal, Gold, and Silver, but they're adding extra times of the day to grab certain pokemon.
Pokemon is a fun escape for me, and a subject of a little revenge many years back. My ex-roommate hated anime with a vengeance - guess it just wasn't cool enough for her. I had already gotten into pokemon before and Togepi was my favorite at the time. She used to have to work on Saturdays and she suckered me into watching her twins. After a while it got a bit irritating, I loved being around the kids, but hated being stuck without a chance to do something else. So knowing her hatred, I began watching Pokemon with the kids! Instant hit, as was Sailor Moon. So little do I know, my precious, gentle act of revenge became even sweeter. Foolish roomie and mom decide to go shopping on night while I'm at work, take kids to K-mart or what ever place they went and little girl sees one of the pillow people Pikachus and throws a shit fit when they try to leave. She wants Pikachu. She was going to have Pikachu. She got Pikachu and Pikachu became her lovie. Pikachu from there after until I moved out was her constant companion. When she first got it, it was larger than she was and she would drag her friend everywhere with her. I didn't mind, Pikachu was awesome, so I was fine with. Of course, it got mom's gaul to no end - which was the point. So it won out for me and the child, and made mom miserable to no end.
If this is passive aggressive, I think it's the least evil version made, but hey, if you're going to do something you know will annoy the hell out of someone, make sure it sticks and you get a good laugh out of.
