Jul. 10th, 2003 06:16 pmI have a car!!! Hail the roommate!! Hail the powers that be!! Hail the men that fixed it!! Hail the people that employ us for whatever time they do and the money we work our asses off that paid for me to be mobile!! Watch out world, I'm behind the wheel again!! And now I have a CD player!!
Other than that, I'm about to give my resignation to the pharmacy. I will site low moral, lack of hours, poor on the job training, and emotional stress for my reasons for leaving. I'm not sure if I'm giving two weeks notice or not, but I certainly don't feel like going back. It's become a struggle to drag myself in there and even harder for me to actually stay the course of the day. It would be one thing if only one person was a dick head, but when I feel only mildly happy with two co-workers and get more than just a cold-shoulder from the rest, it makes it hard to be happy at work. Thank the powers that be for Hot Topic and the back to school season!!
In other things, kitty Murphy is overly loving. I think he's lonely. He's been very attentive when I walk in the door and just all around does well at driving me nuts. He's sweet though and a friend has two kittens that she needs to find homes for. So it's a choice between a 11 week old flame-point Siamese (which would cost something) or a free 3 week old black and white kitten, that I'd have to wait for. We'll see how things go.
